1972 Fender Precision Bass, with a Sunburst finish and tortoiseshell pickguard. Excellent + condition. It has a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard. All stock and original except the solder on the volume pot and the case. It's nice and light, weighing 8 lbs 5 oz / 3.77 kg. The serial number of this bass indicates early 73, but all dated parts are from 1972.
Great straight neck and clean frets in excellent condition with very little wear. Warm tone with plenty of growl. All electronics and hardware are in good working order. The body has a few very small dings and scuffs around the edges. The neck and headstock are very clean, with only minor wear.
Fully set up in our workshop with a fresh set of Rotosound nickel round-wound strings and a low action, giving great playability. Serial: 376202. The volume pot is dated 46th week of 72, the tone pot 18th week of 72. The pickups date to 72. The neck has the date stamp of July 72. Nut width: 41 mm. Depth at the 1st fret: 21.5mm.
