1965 Fender Precision Bass in excellent condition with a Sunburst finish over an Alder body. It has a wide C profile Maple neck with a beautifully figured dark Rosewood fingerboard which has a 7.25" radius and pearl dots. It's nice and light weighing 8lbs 11.5oz. The screws holding down the pickguard and covers are extremely clean and shiny so I suspect these are new. Otherwise the Bass is all original and complete including the case.
This is a great Fender with a straight neck and original frets which are in excellent condition showing virtual no wear. There are a few small scuffs and dings around the edges of the body but overall extremely clean. The neck and headstock are equally as clean. The pickguard is intact with no cracks.
This bass has been fully set up with a very low action and a fresh set of flat wound strings. The neck dates November 1965 C, both pots date to the 50th week 64, the pickups have original winds and strong output. Serial number: L61154, weight: 8lbs 11.5oz. Neck dimensions, Nut width:43.75mm depth at 1st fret: 21.5mm.
