1978-82 Fender Jazz Bass, Sunburst finish in very good + condition. I have dated the bass 78-82 because whilst the serial number on both the body and neck date from 1978 the pickups date to 1982. This is common with Fender instruments from 78 through to 1982 as unused parts were gradually used up. This bass has a changed pickguard and strap buttons. It comes with a (Circa '90s) Fender moulded case.

The body and headstock have a few light scuffs and dings along the edges. The neck finish is very clean and virtually free from wear. The frets show only light signs of wear and have lots of life left in them. The truss rod works as it should and the neck is straight.
Fully set up in our workshop with a low action giving great playability. Serial S852830. Weight 10 lbs 14 oz / 4.93 kg. Nut Width 38.2 mm. Depth at 1st fret 21.3 mm. The pickups have untouched solder, original winds and both are dated to 1982.
