1961 Fender Precision Bass, refinished in Olympic White - good + condition. It's had a refret, a new nut, strap locks fitted, and the pots & capacitor have been changed. Otherwise original. Supplied in a Hiscox flight case.
There is general light playwear, including some small scuffs and dings to the finish, particularly around the edges of the body. There's a patch of finish worn through on the butt end of the body. The back of the neck has a little wear along the bottom edge and up towards the headstock (possibly from a stand), but is otherwise fairly clean. The headstock is clean with just a few small scuffs along the top edge. There's also some wear to the edges of the pickguard in a couple of places./ The action is med/low. The truss rod functions correctly, the neck is straight, and the frets are in great condition.
This bass has been fully set up in our workshop with a fresh set of La Bella Olinto flat-wound strings. The pencil date on the end of the neck is 1/61. The pickups have black bobbins and original winds. Serial number: 57567. Weight: 8 lbs 11 oz / 3.94 kg. Nut width: 44 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 20 mm.
