1963 Fender Stratocaster. Originally Sunburst, this Strat has had more than one different colour over the years. It was eventually stripped back to natural and sprayed with a clear coat. All plastics and hardware are original. The pickups are original with original windings. It has general playwear, including some small dings to the body and headstock, but nothing major. The finish has worn through on the back of the neck, leaving it very smooth in the hand. There's a small crack in the pickguard in the usual place by the neck pickup.
Serial: L11673. Weight: 7 lbs 7 oz / 3.38 kg. Nut width: 42.2 mm / Depth at 1st fret: 21 mm. The neck stamp is illegible. Both tone pots date to the 38th week of 63. No visible pickup dates.
Changes/Mods
Stripped and sprayed with clear lacquer.
Refretted and a new nut.
Changed volume pot.
A few changed wires in the harness.
3-way switch wiring modified to: neck & middle / middle/ middle & bridge.
New Trem arm / New Fender case.
