1985 Gibson Explorer Bass, white finish in good condition. Mahogany body and neck with a rosewood fingerboard. Two Humbucker pickups with volume controls per pickup and a master tone control. Aside from the strap buttons, this bass is all original, including the case.
The finish has yellowed, and the back of the body has a shadow of a sticker previously stuck to the bass. There are several dings and scuffs in the finish, mainly around the edges of the body, but also around the headstock. Everything remains structurally sound with no breaks or repairs. The neck and fretboard are very clean. The neck is straight, and the action is nice and low. The frets are in great shape, and the truss rod is fully functioning.
Fully set up in our workshop with a set of Ernie Ball 40-100 round-wound strings. Serial: 83465523. Nut width 42.5 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 22 mm. Weight: 9 lbs 11 oz / 4.39 kg.
