1974 Fender Precision bass in good condition, refinished in black. As well as the refinish, this bass has had a number of other changes, as listed below.
Strap locks fitted, new CTS pots & Switchcraft jack socket, a new capacitor and cloth wires, refret, changed nut, and new control knobs. 1 changed intonation screw. All other parts are original. Supplied in a Hiscox hard case.
This is a great Fender P-Bass with a straight neck. The frets are in great condition, showing very little wear. There are numerous scuffs and dings in the finish, as well as buckle rash on the back. The neck and headstock have a few minor dings, but nothing major.
This bass has been fully set up in our workshop with a medium/low action and is strung with a fresh set of nickel Rotosound round-wound strings. Both pickups are date-stamped to 1974. Serial number:507586, weight: 8 lbs 12 oz / 3.96 kg. Nut width:41 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 21 mm.
