1973 Fender Precision Bass, with a Sunburst finish and Black pickguard. It has a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard. All stock and original other than some solder. The case is from a later '70s Fender bass and the metal bridge and pickup covers are missing. It's very light weighing only 8 lbs 8.5 oz.
Great straight neck and clean frets in excellent condition with very little wear. Warm tone with plenty of growl. All electronics and hardware are in good working order. The body has a few small bumps and scrapes around the edges. The neck and headstock are very clean. The tip of the pickguard by the output jack has a very small crack that my tech has secured with super glue.
Fully set up by my technician with a nice low action giving great playability. It has been strung with a fresh set of Rotosound Nickel round wounds strings. Serial:409698. The pot's date to the 43rd week of 1973. The pickups date to 73. Nut width: 41 mm. Depth at the 1st fret: 21.4 mm.
