1971 Fender Jazz bass in excellent condition. Sunburst finish, rosewood fingerboard, Tortoiseshell guard. This bass is all original with the original case and untouched solder joints. This is a very nice example of a vintage Fender Jazz bass. The finish on the body has a very little wear with just a few small dings & scuffs around the edges and a tiny spot of buckle rash. The neck and headstock are extremely clean. The frets are clean and in great shape with lots of life left in them. Everything remains structurally sound with no breaks or repairs.
This bass is a joy to play with a superb even sound right across the fretboard, it has a straight neck which is very slim at the nut, and the truss rod works correctly. It's been fully set up with a fresh set of Ernie Ball round-wound strings and sounds amazing. Weight 9 lbs 5.5 oz. Serial: 338603. The pickups have original windings and untouched solder. The pots all date to the 16th week of 71 and have untouched solder. The neck is dated 1971. Nut Width: 37.5 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 22.6 mm. 3-month warranty included.
