1969 Fender Jazz Bass, Candy Apple Red finish, matching headstock in very good condition and supplied in the original case. The serial number is 258867. It has a white 3-ply guard, a very clean maple neck and a dark Rosewood fingerboard with pearl blocks & white binding. It's been re-fretted but otherwise original pickguard, hardware, pickups, pots and finish. This bass is a great player with a superb tone. There are a few Scuffs and scrapes to the finish, mainly around the edge of the body and headstock The frets are in great shape. All electronics and hardware are in good working order.

 The bass is set up nice and low with a smooth action and a fresh set of D'addario round-wound strings. It has a great sound with a warm tone and plenty of growl. This is a great bass to play and balances nicely weighing  9 lbs 3 oz. The truss rod works as it should without issue. All 3 pots date to the 42nd week of 66. (pots dating to 66 are commonly found in Fender basses from 66-69)  The pickups date to 1969. The nut width is 38 mm. Depth at 1st fret 22 mm.
