1964 Fender Precision Bass with a body only refinish in olympic white. It has a beautiful tortoise-shell guard with no cracks or breaks and a rosewood fingerboard with clay dots. Aside from the finish the bass is all original. It comes supplied in a period-correct case.
The body finish has yellowed leaving it looking more blonde than white. In a few areas where there is wear as well as under the guard and bridge cover the white shows through. Theres also a few scuffs and dings. The nail holes in the body are still visible along with the router hump, all of which verifies the body. The finish on the back of the neck has light wear and theres a few small dings and scuffs around the edges of the headstock. The original frets are in great shape having been dressed in our workshop.
It's been fully set up in our workshop with a set of round-wound strings and has a straight neck and a great action. Serial:L20812 . The neck date reads Jan 64 C. Nut width: 44.1 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 21.5 mm. Weight: 8 lbs 11.5 oz.
