From the previous owner:
"Bought from Top Gear Music in Denmark St, London in 1969. EMG pickups fitted by Ealing Music Store 21/05/84. Refret and bone nut by Luthier Ray Cooper sometime around 1990."
This is a fantastic playing and sounding instrument, it has a chunky neck which is straight and plays smoothly. The frets are in very good condition having been dressed in our workshop. The finish on the body has lots of playwear. The back of the neck is extremely clean. The headstock has a few small scuffs around the edge.
This bass has been fully set up with a fresh set of D'Addario flat-wound strings. The end of the neck is stamped June '62 C. The pickups have Black bobbins. All-around fantastic bass. Nut width: 43.6 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 20 mm. Pickup DC resistance: 10.9k.
