1966 Fender Precision Bass with a beautiful and rare Dakota Red custom colour finish in excellent condition. Serial: 152602. It's nice and light, weighing only 8 lbs 9.5 oz / 3.9 kg. All original and complete, including the case.
The body finish has some light scuffs and small dings, but overall, this bass is in great condition. The neck and headstock are very clean with only a few light scuffs. It's an all-around excellent bass, a joy to play and sounds incredible.
This bass has been fully set up in our workshop with a set of Ernie Ball strings and great action. The neck is date-stamped Aug 66 C. Both pots date to 66. The pickups have original winds and date to '66. Nut width: 44mm, depth at 1st fret 21.6 mm. Pickup DC resistance 10.78k.
