1966 Ampeg B15NF

1966 Ampeg B15NF in fair condition. 30 watts. Serial:030429. It's fully serviced with a 30-day warranty. It's 110V and comes supplied with a step-down transformer. Ideal for low volume studio work.

This is one of the best sounding B15 I have had in stock which makes up for the fact that cosmetically it's pretty worn, particularly the tolex on the cabinet. The wear is mainly around the lower corners and on the back of the cab. There was one large tear at the bottom on the back of the cab where I have patched in a rectangular section using original tolex. The front edges of the cabinet are in relatively good condition. There are a few small tears in the grille cloth but nothing major. The latches work as they should with no issues. I have fitted a new plexiglass light up logo to the tube cage and a new metal Ampeg badge on the front of the cabinet. Both these repro parts are from https://www.fliptops.net/  in the USA. There is no dolly included but someone has fitted wheels to the underside of the cab. Most importantly of all the sound is fantastic. This amp won't disappoint in terms of sound or looks. Don't miss out on getting that cool Motown sound.

During the service, the power chord was changed from a two-pin to a three-pin, the so-called "death cap" removed and an earth tag has been fitted to make it safe. Also noted: Original JBL speaker dates to 1966. 2 original Ampeg branded pre-amp tubes. (one changed) Also changed power and rectifier tubes. All of the replaced tubes are USA made.
