1972 Ampeg B15 in excellent condition & fully serviced. 30-watt tube Bass Guitar Amplifier. Serial: 13409. Supplied with a new step down transformer. Serviced in Feb 2022 by Mac Amplification in Leeds. During the service the mains cable was changed from a two pin to a three pin, the earth wire was then soldered to the chassis and the earthing cap unsoldered to make it safe (often referred to as the death cap). In addition a new fuse holder has been fitted. All components were tested for tolerance and the tubes were also tested. All pots, rocker switches, valve sockets and jack sockets cleaned and lubricated.
It has the original CTS 8 ohm speaker. The latches are in good working order. Dolly/wheels included. The grill cloth has a few a few small holes and patches of general wear. The tolex and grille cloth are in excellent condition with only minimal wear. It has a small badge from a previous owner on the front of the cab.
This is one rare breed of bass amplifier that deserves to be played and is collectable at the same time. The amp has 2 Channels with 1 bright and 1 normal input on each channel. Each channel has volume / bass / treble & 2 rocker switches for hi and low boost / cut.
