1966 Fender Deluxe Reverb amplifier in good condition. The original Oxford 12" speaker drives 20 watts. The amp runs on USA power, 110V. It comes supplied with a new step-down transformer. It was serviced in late October 2020 by Granville Guitars in St Petersburg, Florida. All tubes were tested and new capacitors fitted where necessary. The tube chart sticker has mostly torn away meaning the date code cant be read. Given that the transformers all date to late 65 and by comparing the serial number to other 65 & 66 Fender amps we've had in stock I would say final assembly of the amp was early to mid 66.
The sound is amazing, it has a super warm tone with lush reverb. There is general wear and tear including some rusting to the metalwork and a few scuffs and tears in the tolex. The grille cloth has a few marks but isn't torn anywhere. There is also some slight pitting to the faceplate. This is the perfect amp for gigging, recording, or just using at home.
The speaker is dated to the 36th week of 1965. The transformers all date to late 1965. The pots have a range of dates from mid to late 65. Weight: 15.5 kg. Serial number: A00538. The reverb pan has been replaced with an MOD from CE Distribution. 30-day warranty included.
