1964 Gibson ES-330 TD in excellent condition. Sunburst finish, mahogany neck with a rosewood fretboard, block position inlays and nickel hardware. It comes in a non-original case. Other than that, this guitar is all original.
The ES-330 shares the body shape of the ES-335, ES-345 and ES-355 and is a lightweight, lively-sounding guitar when played acoustically or plugged in. It's fitted with powerful P-90 single coil pick-ups, which are nicely balanced. This example has very little wear, with just a few minor dings and scuffs around the edges of the body, but nothing major. The neck is very clean overall with just a couple of small dings. The headstock has a few scuffs and dings along the top edge. The frets are in excellent condition.
This guitar has been set up in our workshop with great action. The pots are all correct with unbroken solder. The pickups are nicely balanced with a lovely warm tone from the neck pickup and a crisp bite from the bridge. Weight 6 lbs 2.5 oz / 2.79 kg. Serial: 177679. Nut width: 42.5mm. Depth at 1st fret: 21.5mm.
