1965 Fender Princeton Reverb / Weber Speaker

1965 Fender Princeton Reverb amplifier in excellent condition. The Black faceplate panel still has the pre-CBS “Fender Electric Instrument Company” label. It comes with the original double foot-switch and a new 240V-110V / step down transformer. It has a new Weber Classic Alnico 10" speaker driving 12-15 watts. This amp is all original except for the Weber speaker, a few capacitors and a 3 pin power cord with earth tag. The tubes are as follows - 1x UK made Amporex 5AR4 /GZ34 rectifier, 2 x RCA USA made 6V6, the 2 x 12AX& 1x AT7 and the 7025 are all USA made RCA tubes. It's possible that everything but the rectifier are original to the amp.

The sound is amazing, it has a super warm tone with lush reverb. It's very clean, with no significant scuffs or tears in the tolex. The grille cloth has a few small tears. This is the perfect amp for gigging, recording, or just using at home.

The transformers all date to late 64, as do all the pots. Weight: 12.98kg. Serial number: A02157. The tube chart sticker is stamped with the code OB, dating it to Feb of 65. The amp has been fully checked over by our tech here at the showroom and given a clean bill of health. It's had a 3 pin power cord and earth tag fitted for safety. 30-day warranty included.
