1963 Gibson ES-330 TD in excellent condition. Sunburst finish, mahogany neck with a rosewood fretboard, block position inlays and nickel hardware. The nut has been replaced - otherwise all original, including the Lifton case. (The original nut is included)
The ES-330 shares the body shape of the ES-335, ES-345 and ES-355 and is a lightweight, lively-sounding guitar when played acoustically or plugged in. It's fitted with powerful P-90 single-coil pickups, which are nicely balanced. There are a few very minor dings and scuffs to the body and neck. There's a little more wear around the edges of the headstock, but everything remains structurally sound with no breaks or repairs. There is some playwear to the fretboard. The frets are in excellent condition. The G string tuner is slightly bent, but it functions correctly.
This guitar has been set up in our workshop with great action and a fresh set of D'Addario 10-gauge strings. The pots are all correct with unbroken solder. The pot dates that are visible are dated early 63. The pickups are nicely balanced with a lovely warm tone from the neck pickup and a crisp bite from the bridge. Weight: 6 lbs 4.5 oz / 2.84 kg. Serial: 109661. Nut width: 43 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 21.25 mm.
