1961 Epiphone FT-45 Cortez in good condition , Sunburst finish, rare Bikini Logo and original case. It has a Sitka Spruce top, Mahogany back and sides, X style top bracing and a 24 3/4″ scale length. It's a really lovely sounding, small body drednought acoustic with deep bottom end and sweet highs with well balanced mids.

“Cortez: Distinctive in appearance with a beautiful golden shaded flat top and traditional shape. Distinctive in features with a mellow, resonant tone and a fast, low action. Top is specially selected Spruce providing a fine sounding board, back and rims are Mahogany. Mahogany neck with adjustable truss rod. Rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays. Rosewood bridge. Large shell celluloid pickguard. Nickel plated enclosed machine heads.”
There is pick wear around the sound-hole and a number of small dings/marks & scuffs in the finish on the front, back and sides of the body. There are also a few small dings to the back of the neck and headstock. The neck is straight and the frets are in excellent condition with very little wear. Everything remains structurally sound with no cracks, breaks or repairs.
This acoustic has has been fully checked over in our workshop and set up with a great action and a fresh set of strings. Nut width:42.5 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 20.5 mm. Weight: 3lbs 15.5oz. Serial:A-3890. Supplied with 3-months warranty.
