Mike Lull Basses now available at Andy Baxter Bass & Guitars!
Andy Baxter is excited to announce that he is now an authorised dealer of Mike Lull basses!
The Mike Lull Guitar Works first opened its doors in 1976, quickly garnering a reputation for the high-quality bass and guitar repairs, fretwork and fine-tuning it offered. Not long after, Mike started to build custom basses and guitars, something that lead to an incredible period of growth for the company, and by 1995, Mike launched the now-legendary Mike Lull Custom Bass and Guitar lines. Over the years, the company has created and repaired instruments for some veritable musical icons, including the likes of Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Bob Dylan, Foo Fighters, and Willie Weeks, amongst scores of others.
Now headed by Mike’s son, Spencer, Mike Lull Custom Guitars has firmly cemented its reputation for crafting instruments of exceptional quality. The team work tirelessly to ensure that each instrument leaving their workshop is the absolute best it can be. This determined pursuit of perfection and meticulous attention to detail, coupled with their decades of experience in luthiery and repair-work, yield instruments that can be considered true works of art.
Of their new working relationship, Spencer has this to say:
“We’re extremely excited to have Andy come on board as a new official dealer of Mike Lull instruments. His passion for the highest quality basses and guitars is right in line with ours and we couldn’t be happier to have him represent our work!”
That same sense of excitement is echoed by Andy:
“Over the years, I’ve played a number of Lull basses, including Ian Martin Allison’s personal signature IMA4. I’m particularly drawn to their instruments because of a clear vintage influence alongside some modern refinements. Equally, there’s a real attention to detail evident with each instrument, which is a real testament to Spencer and the rest of the incredible Mike Lull team. We couldn’t be more excited to be stocking Mike Lull basses!”
