1971 Fender Mustang Bass in very god condition, Competition Red finish, maple neck with a Rosewood fingerboard. I've replaced the mute sponge as it had deteriorated. Otherwise original and complete including the case. 3-months warranty and a 7-day returns policy included.
It has a great playing straight neck and the frets are in good condition. The body finish has a few small scuffs and dings but is clean overall. The neck and headstock are almost entirely free of wear except a few very small dings along the top edge of the headstock. Everything remains structurally sound with no breaks or repairs. The truss rod works correctly without issue. All electronics work and sound great.
Fully set up in our workshop with a medium-low action and round-wound strings. The pot's date to the 44th week of 1966 and the neck stamp reads Feb 71. The pickups date to 71. Serial: 299098. Weight 9lbs 4.5oz. Nut width: 40.2mm. Depth at 1st fret:23mm.
