1968 Wilson SAB Semi-acoustic bass in near mint condition. Sunburst polyester finish with a sycamore neck and mahogany fingerboard. Schaller pickups and machine heads. It comes supplied in what I believe is the original case. 30.5" scale length. Wilson guitars & basses (formerly Watkins) were a British brand in the '60s and '70s.
The finish has only the lightest signs of use. There's an extra strap button on the heel and an extra screw hole to the left of the neck plate. The neck is perfect with no fret wear. Being fully hollow it's nice and light weighing 6lbs 13.5oz.
Set up in our workshop with black nylon tape-wound strings. Nut width 42.8 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 20.5 mm. Serial: 14308.
