1977 Music Man Stingray, Black

1977 Music Man Stingray in very good condition. Black finish, black pickguard, maple neck & fretboard. Equipped with a 2-band EQ, epoxy-coated preamp and through-body stringing. Aside from the changed mute sponge, a refret and the case, it's all original.

The body finish is fairly clean overall, but it does have a few scuffs and small dings, mainly around the edges of the body. The headstock also has a few minor dings on the top edge. The back of the neck has a little wear along the upper edge and a couple of small dings further up. The neck is straight and plays smoothly. The frets have minimal wear and have been cleaned and polished in our workshop. The electronics work perfectly, and all hardware is in excellent condition. The truss rod works correctly without issue. This is an all-around excellent bass.

It's been fully set up in our workshop with a fresh set of Elites Stadium round-wound strings and has great action, allowing for superb playability up and down the neck. The serial number is B004822. Weight: 10 lbs 1 oz / 4.56 kg. The body date is May 25th, 1977, and the neck, June 10th, 1977. The pots are dated to late 76. The truss rod works as intended with plenty of room to move. Nut Width: 43.5 mm. Depth at 1st fret 20.8 mm.

Condition Very good 8/10
