1966 Fender Precision Bass with a beautiful Olympic White finish, in excellent condition. Serial: 125402. It's nice and light weighing only 8 lbs 7 oz / 3.83 kg. It's all original and complete, including the case. Supplied with a 3-month warranty and 14-day returns policy.
As you can see the finish is in great condition. The only signs of wear are some very small dings and some areas of flaking on the bottom edge and by the heel. There's also some lacquer checking in the finish. Exceptionally clean overall. The neck and headstock are almost entirely free of wear. It's an all-round excellent bass, a joy to play and sounds incredible.
This bass has been fully set up in our workshop with a fresh set of nickel Rotosound, round-wound strings and low action. The neck is date-stamped Feb 66 C. Both pots date to 66 with only the tone pot showing the full date of the 8th week of '66. The pickups have original winds - only one half has a visible pencil date of 3-28-66. Nut width: 43mm, depth at 1st fret 21 mm. Pickup DC resistance 10.04k.
