1966 Fender Jazzmaster, Sunburst

1966 Fender Jazzmaster, Sunburst finish in very good condition with original case. It has a beautiful tortoiseshell pickguard and a rosewood fingerboard with dots and binding. I had the bridge pickup rewound to original spec by Lee Lavarack (Toltec Pickups) in Leeds. The bridge cover is missing. Otherwise all original and complete. It comes with 3-months warranty and a 7-day returns policy.

There are a few minor scuffs & dings to the body finish, predominantly around the edge. The frets have been cleaned and polished in our workshop and have very little wear with plenty of life in them. The back of the neck has a little light wear through the finish, mainly along the edges. The headstock has a couple of very minor scuffs and dings around the edges but nothing major.

This guitar has been set up in our workshop with a fresh set of nickel D'Addario 10-46 strings and a medium-low action. The neck is stamped Dec 65 B. Serial 145648. The volume pot is dated to the 8th week of 66, the tone pot 17th week of 66. Both are original with untouched solder. Only one of the pickups has a visible pencil date - May 19th 1966.  Weight 7lbs 11.5oz. Nut width: 41.5 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 20.8 mm. Depth at 12th fret 23 mm.
