1968 Gibson ES-335 TD, Sunburst finish in excellent + 9/10 condition. The Sunburst is still very vibrant showing little to no fade. Inside the original Ess & Ess case you will find the original hang tag along with pickup and bridge adjustment instructions. Upon close inspection, there are a few small marks/dings and extremely light play wear along with some light lacquer checking. There are no breaks/cracks or repairs and everything remains structurally sound. The original frets have only light wear, with plenty of life left in them, all hardware & electronics are in excellent working order and still very shiny. The binding is all intact.
This guitar has been fully checked over & set up in our workshop and is an all-around excellent sounding and playing guitar. Set up with a low action allowing for very smooth movement around the fretboard. It has a big rich tone both plugged in and acoustically.
Nut width: 40 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 20.6 mm. Serial:980209. Weight: 8 lbs 2 oz / 3.86 kg. 2 Patent number pickups. Sprague black beauty caps. 4 correct CTS pots all dating to mid-67.
