1962 Fender Precision, Olympic White finish in good condition, tortoiseshell guard with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. It's an amazing player with an incredible neck. Original brown Jennings case included. Re-worked solder on the pickups but otherwise original and complete. Its very light weighing only 8 lbs 6 oz. The pots are stamped 304-6231 ( 31st week of 62) the neck date is Aug 62. The pickups have black bobbins and original winds.
There is plenty of lacquer checking in the finish along with some scuffs and scratches to the body, neck and edges of headstock. The original frets show virtually no wear and have plenty of life left in them. (probably strung with flats for most of its life) The pickguard has only minimal shrinkage with no cracks. Everything remains structurally sound.
It's been fully set up in our workshop with what a set of flat-wound strings and has a straight neck and a great action. Serial:81928. Nut width: 43.9 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 20.2 mm. 3-months warranty included.
