1973 Fender Precision bass with a very slim A neck (like a Jazz bass), Sunburst finish over an Ash body with a Maple A size neck & fingerboard. It has been rewired and has a changed pickguard with new control knobs. It comes in a non-original hard case. There are a number of scuffs and dings to the edges of the body, the neck and headstock are clean with only smalls signs of wear around the edges. The original frets are in great shape. The neck is very slim and allows for a quick & smooth playing action. There is an extra hole on the tip of the lower horn. (perhaps someone played it left-handed?)
This bass is fully set up by my technician with a fresh set of strings. The tone is round and even across the strings. Serial number: 375045. Weight: 8lbs 7oz. The pots date to the 10th week of 73, the neck is stamped Sept 72 A. Neck dimensions: Nut width: 37.75mm Depth at 1st fret: 20.5mm.
